DOCTOR RETIRING

Dr Richard Lawson will be retiring from the practice in July.

Dr Lawson planned, when the two practices joined forces, to continue to work for about two years. We are all very grateful to him for staying with the practice over this period of change while the two practices merged. He has provided continuity for staff and patients and we will all miss him. We wish him and his family well for his retirement. His last working day will be Wednesday 9^th July. 

The practice will be advertising for a new doctor who is expected to work 6 clinical sessions. These will be Dr Lawson’s four sessions and 2 sessions from Dr Farooq Faheem, who will reduce his sessions in the practice to the 6 sessions that he had prior to the practice merger, so that he can spend an extra day as a cardiologist.

 Overall the number of doctors and sessions available at the practice will remain the same once we have recruited the new doctor.
